Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 26, 2026

Transcending The Rabbit Hole (“we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect when you use our website, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using this site you agree to this policy.

Information We Collect

  • Newsletter signups. If you subscribe, we collect your email address so we can send you the Rabbit Hole Dispatch.
  • Contact messages. If you email us or use a contact form, we receive the message and the email address you provide so we can reply.
  • Basic, privacy-friendly analytics. We may use aggregate, cookieless analytics to understand which pages are popular. This does not identify you personally.

We do not ask for or store payment card details on this site. We do not sell your personal information.

How We Use Your Information

  • To send the newsletter you asked for (you can unsubscribe at any time).
  • To respond to your messages and requests.
  • To improve the site and understand what content resonates.

Third-Party Services

Parts of the site rely on trusted third parties, each with its own privacy policy:

  • Podbean — hosts our podcast feed and audio.
  • YouTube — embedded videos and live streams may set their own cookies when you play them.
  • Memberships — memberships are billed by Stripe, which holds your payment details; we see your name, email, tier, and payment status so we can give you access. When you sign in, we set one cookie that keeps you signed in for up to 30 days. Memberships that began on Patreon are covered by Patreon’s policy.
  • Email delivery — we use an email service to send the newsletter and confirmations.
  • Hosting & analytics — our host provides infrastructure and aggregate analytics.
  • Stripe — shop purchases are processed securely by Stripe; we never see or store your full card details.
  • Printful — our merchandise is made to order and shipped by Printful. To fulfill an order we share the name, shipping address, email, and phone number you give at checkout with Printful, which uses them only to produce and deliver your order.

Affiliate Links

Some links (for example, book recommendations on our Resources page) are affiliate links. As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases. This never adds cost to you and does not change what we recommend.

Cookies

We keep cookies to a minimum. Embedded third-party players (like YouTube) may set their own cookies when you interact with them. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

Your Choices & Rights

  • Unsubscribe from the newsletter any time using the link in any email, or by contacting us.
  • Request a copy of, correction to, or deletion of the personal information we hold about you.

Children

This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we’ll revise the “Last updated” date above.
